With Flutter, the perfect recipe for outstanding digital products

Flutter is a modern UI framework for cross-platform application development for iOS, Android, web, and desktop. It is based on a single codebase, enabling the efficient implementation of digital products with consistent design and high performance.

Flutter’s architecture allows for direct compilation into native code, resulting in fast load times and smooth interactions. Its integrated rendering engine ensures precise UI rendering across all devices. With its extensive widget system, complex UI structures can be created flexibly and individually.

Flutter is particularly well suited for projects that require a fast time-to-market, high design standards, and technical scalability. Its active developer community and continuous improvements by Google make Flutter a future-proof choice for modern app development.

Key advantages at a glance:

  • A single codebase for all platforms

  • Native performance through direct compilation

  • Fast development cycles thanks to Hot Reload

  • High UI/UX flexibility through a comprehensive widget system

  • Active community and regular updates

Flutter provides a stable, powerful, and highly versatile foundation for building digital products. The technology enables efficient, scalable, and technically sophisticated solutions.

What we make possible with Flutter

Flutter is an integral part of our technology work. We use the framework in demanding projects, develop our own tools, and continuously explore new approaches, best practices, and developments within the Flutter ecosystem. We share our knowledge through talks, meetups, and professional articles – while continuously expanding it through collaboration, ongoing training, and hands-on experience.

Projects – Flutter in Action

GDP – German Design Award Winner

The GDP app was developed with Flutter as a cross-platform application and was awarded with the German Design Award for its outstanding design. Particularly impressive is the implementation of a consistent UI/UX concept across multiple devices – including responsive layouts, custom components, and finely tuned animations. Flutter enabled high design fidelity and a performant user experience on iOS, Android, and web.

Hoyer – Microanimations for a Lively UI

The Hoyer app makes targeted use of microanimations, which were implemented particularly efficiently with Flutter. These animations enhance user guidance and create a modern, dynamic appearance. Custom transitions and animated widgets were used, seamlessly integrated into the existing architecture.

Kitalino – Cross-Platform Educational Application

Kitalino is a prime example of Flutter’s strength in complex multi-platform projects. The application runs on smartphones, tablets, and the web – all from a single codebase. Key challenges included responsive design for various screen sizes and the integration of offline functionalities. Flutter enabled a flexible UI structure and stable performance across all platforms.

TK Husteblume – Health App with Animated Elements

Flutter was used for the TK Husteblume app to create a modern health application featuring animated UI elements. The app offers interactive content supported by animations and visual feedback. Flutter enabled a fast implementation of the design specifications and ensured a high level of consistency in the user experience – even with complex interactions.

FN Abzeichen – Digital Badges in Equestrian Sports

In this project, animated badges were developed with Flutter and displayed visually appealing within the app. The challenge lay in combining dynamic data processing with compelling visual design. Flutter provided the necessary flexibility to implement custom animations efficiently and across platforms.

Open Source – A Tool for the Community

Werkbank

With the “Werkbank” package, we provide a collection of reusable UI components and development tools for Flutter projects. The goal is the efficient and consistent implementation of commonplace components, such as standardized forms, navigation elements, or layout structures. Werkbank is actively maintained and expanded based on experiences from real projects. It is publicly available and contributes to quality and reusability in Flutter development.

Knowledge Transfer & Learning – Advancing Flutter Together

Flutter Meet-Ups

We are the initiators and hosts of the Flutter Meetups Bremen. Our colleagues invest time and expertise to make these events possible, managing the entire process from concept and communication to execution. We focus on an open, welcoming atmosphere that encourages exchange among developers.

The content of our meetups comes directly from the developers at neusta mobile solutions. We share our hands-on project experience and demonstrate how Flutter works in practice:

  • Florian Vögtle: “How to Utilize Shaders Within Your Flutter App”

  • Jennifer Schröder: “Supercharge Your Flutter Development Process Using Figma”

  • Leif Zuttermeister & Lennard Wiedekamp: “Build Widgets in Isolation with Werkbank”

Our meetups are more than just presentations: they are meeting points for people who live and breathe Flutter. We promote exchange, support newcomers, and bring people together who want to learn from each other.

New meetups are already beeing planned. You can look forward to fascinating topics, inspiring guests, and many opportunities for active participation. Follow us, join in, and get involved. We look forward to seeing you!

Conference Talks

Dynamic, Organic Visuals with Shaders – by Florian Vögtle

In his talk, Florian Vögtle demonstrates how modern apps can be visually enhanced through the targeted use of shaders. While many applications still rely on flat UI designs, companies like Apple and Google are already exploring new paths – using organic, dynamic animations that emotionally engage users and clearly differentiate their products from the competition.

Florian provides insights into:

  • The basics of shaders and their role in app development

  • The possibilities of parallel pixel manipulation beyond classic UI components

  • Concrete use cases – from interactive button animations to AI-driven interfaces

The talk offers practical guidance on integrating shaders into Flutter and explores the range of visual effects that can be achieved. The goal is to empower developers to take their apps beyond functionality, elevating them to a new level of design excellence.
